Making Maths easy

As the Einstein said "Do not worry about your problems with mathematics, I assure you mine are far greater."

Know more about Albert Einstein here.

Even such a genius mind had doubts in mathematics. So having doubts and difficulties does not mean that you are weak at mathematics.

According to my experience, Maths is the easiest subject that I have ever known! So was it always that easy for me? No...

There are only two kinds of people on this planet : those who find maths easy and other ones who find it difficult. Where is the catch? What makes this two species so different? Answer lies in the approach and belief.

You may find other subjects like history, social sciences etc easier as compared to maths. Reason is fairly simple. Those subjects are just about absorbing the information in its raw form. You just have to mug up things and vomit it out on your answer sheets. Maths is different. Maths, if done with a proper approach, is the easiest. It can be explained and understood in extremely logical manner. Maths is not a subject to study, it is the part of everyday life.

Usually students find it difficult because their approach is wrong. They try to mug up maths. That is impossible. Some expect themselves to learn it in one go. This may happen to some of them while others may need to give a second try or may be even third. There is no harm in trying.

Things you should do to overcome your fear of maths and improve over it:

Keep Questioning

When you stop putting your questions to others, you just close all the doors of knowledge. Answer cannot exist without question. Don't worry about what others would think. If you have a doubt feel free to ask to your teachers. If you wish you may share your doubts with me and I will try my best to solve them.

Keep trying

You may not get the concept in one go. That is fine. Usually all those students who are good at maths do not get it in one try. They just KEEP TRYING.

Take a break

Sometimes we get too much confused and our brain is saturated with maths. We feel hopeless and stuck up for all the time. This is the time to take a break. When we get stuck up, we can't find where are we going wrong. This is what my experience says. We keep looking for correct answer and all we get is yet another wrong answer. Just put you books and pens a side. Read some light book or watch some good movie. Once you are fresh, give it another try. This type you may get it. Still not successful? Just ask someone. (me?)

Don't mug up

Maths is not about how well you can remember. Its about how well you can analyze, solve and evaluate the data given to you. It is logical. You will need to develop your brain in that sense.

Learning is long term process

Learning is a long term process. In fact its unending process. The more you question yourself and others, more are the chances for you to learn. Don't expect yourself to become successful overnight.

Solve puzzles

Maths is all about ability to deal with some complex stuff. We need to simply it. Usually people who can solve some puzzles are quite good at maths.

You can always ask your doubts to me. I will try and solve them and in bargain I too will learn something. I will upload all the solutions to your doubts on my YouTube channel.
